Local News from the Dudley North Neighbourhood Policing Team
Dear Resident,
Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Dudley North Neighbourhood Policing Team.
What’s been happening:
• Community Coming Together to Help During a Road Incident PC Catchpole and PCSO Lowrie were called to a road traffic collision that was blocking half of the road. Upon arrival, we saw that members of the public were helping those involved in the collision and directing traffic! Thankfully, there were no major injuries. We want to thank everyone involved – you were all calm, collected and very kind! • Street Watch Group Trained and Ready! We had three councillors and three local residents attend a training session to become a Street Watch group for Dudley North. During training they were given guidance with the planned sessions, handled the community speed gun, and saw the paperwork given to those who are caught speeding. Soon the group will be deployed to areas around Dudley North – Sedgley, Coseley, Upper Gornal & Woodsetton, and Lower Gornal.
Look out for… • Coseley Library Police Surgery – Thursday 14th August at 10:30 – 11:30 • Gornal Library Police Surgery – Thursday 14th August at 10:00 – 11:00 • Sedgley Library Police Surgery – Saturday 23rd August at 10:00 – 11:00
When reporting a crime, does it feel like the situation could get heated or violent very soon? Is someone in immediate danger? Do you need support right away? If so, please call 999 now.
If you’ve witnessed or been the victim of crime that isn't an emergency, please report it to us by calling 101 or using our online form that can be found HERE.
Many thanks!
- PCSO Lowrie | ||
